'Break The Bonds That Breed New Life' is the first single by cross-continental progressive thrash metal band, Nadir. The band is made up of Matt Anderson (Underkript/Seracrusis/MJ Anderson), Ruari Ferguson (The Antiquity/session musician for Underkript) and Mike Marshall.

Featuring a fast tempo, ear piercing vocals, soaring guitars and relentless drums, this single displays the framework that Nadir intend to set out for moving forward with their future endeavours.

Nadir's history:

'All 3 musicians were brought together after Matt invited Ruari to play drums for his project, Underkript, on a temporary basis. Following the album Ruari sessioned for, that being 'Parables', Ruari and Matt decided to branch off and create their own project in 2019.

The intention was primarily to pursue developing the 'progressive thrash' sound further. This lead to Ruari contacting his friend and old bandmate, Mike, asking if he would be interested in playing bass for the project. The band cooperated through the internet to begin writing music. Thus, Nadir was born.'

Nadir relishes creating music that employs technical flourishes of playing, intricate musical textures and dynamic rhythmic cooperation.
